April's Cyclone Vaianu has huffed and puffed at Mahia's Peninsula and blown our Kinikini pole down. Services to clients primarily west of the Peninsula will be effected. We are working on back up links & restoring what transmitters are still intact currently.
Additional pole installed by Aaron Mckinnon to get around trees interfering with our line of site to Tolaga Bay. This will give us better speeds to our customers up the coast.

We're parternering with a company called Preseem to install advanced monitoring software on our network. Preseem is a network analytics and monitoring platform, which will give us live feedback on each and every repeater site we have up and down the coast (thousands of them!). This way our team will get an alert when any antenna is going slower than it should, meaning we can proactively solve issues before our customers...
Every summer we gear up to provide reliable internet and networking to the Rhythm and Vines festival, rain or shine. This year we installed about 50 different antennas and ran at least 1200m of cable around the site; you might have seen our gear up on poles, coming off of shed roofs, or on the side of the stage rigging. We've been running the networking at RnV since 2005, hope to see all the operations staff again soon.
