If you are still having connection issues, please contact us. 28/03/26-09:45am - Unfortunately, there has been major damage to the solar system and new solar gear is required to bring this site back online without risking a fire hazard. We are aiming to have this site back online Monday morning, with a technician leaving first thing. 28/03/26-09:05am - Ohuka repeater site is currently offline. Our technician is enroute to investigate the issue.

Implementing Preseem Software

We're parternering with a company called Preseem to install advanced monitoring software on our network. Preseem is a network analytics and monitoring platform, which will give us live feedback on each and every repeater site we have up and down the coast (thousands of them!). This way our team will get an alert when any antenna is going slower than it should, meaning we can proactively solve issues before our customers experience them. We're currently in a test phase at the moment, and hoping to have it fully integerated by March 2026.

This year we installed about 50 different antennas and ran at least 1200m of cable around the site; you might have seen our gear up on poles, coming off of shed roofs, or on the side of the stage rigging. We've been running the networking at RnV since 2005, hope to see all the operations staff again soon.
