UPDATE 23/09/2026 -1.20pm: Full service has been restored. 22/09/2026 -4.26pm: Third party damage has affected our fibre backhaul for Northern Tairawhiti. Customers may experience degraded service until Chorus repair the fibre tomorrow morning. We appreciate your patience.
April's Cyclone Vaianu has huffed and puffed at Mahia's Peninsula and blown our Kinikini pole down. Services to clients primarily west of the Peninsula will be effected. We are working on back up links & restoring what transmitters are still intact currently.
Additional pole installed by Aaron Mckinnon to get around trees interfering with our line of site to Tolaga Bay. This will give us better speeds to our customers up the coast.

This way our team will get an alert when any antenna is going slower than it should, meaning we can proactively solve issues before our customers experience them. We're currently in a test phase at the moment, and hoping to have it fully integerated by March 2026.
