Crown Infrastructure Partners have contracted Gisborne Net to provide or improve Internet connectivity for 86 Marae in the Gisborne, Wairoa, East Coast and Bay of Plenty areas. This is part of the Marae Connectivity Project which will see selected rural marae connected to the internet. We’re contacting representatives of the selected Marae to start the installation process and expect to have close to 50% of Mare connected by the end of 2019 with the balance being completed early in the new year.
